Year 6 presented the first coffee concert of the year on Tuesday Morning. What a way to kick things off! We were treated to performances on guitar, piano, cello, violin, and vocals.

Daisy opened up the concert on cello with a skilful rendition of Dvorak’s Humoresque. This was followed by Vivi and Ella on piano, who absolutely wowed us with their performances. Monica then brilliantly sang the seasonally appropriate ‘Conkers’ with great confidence and style. Next was a coffee concert first – an excellent guitar performance of ‘Over the Rainbow’ from Silvana. Daphne then made her FHP debut with the beautifully delivered classic ‘Edelweiss’. Darcy truly blew us away with her piano performance of ‘Rumores de la Caleta’. Nina and Grace gave us two fantastic vocal performances of crowd favourites ‘Catch a Falling Star’ and ‘Naughty’. We then heard ‘Listen to the Rhythm’ from the brilliant Sofia on the violin and ‘Idylle’ expertly performed by Sara. To close the concert, Lilivi took our breath away with her powerful vocal performance of ‘The Path to the Moon’.

It is safe to say that the audience was inspired and amazed by the girls performing. I am certainly looking forward to the remainder of the coffee concerts to come this year. A huge well done to all of girls involved!
