Year 2 had an exciting trip to the Tower of London, where we delved into the thrilling tale of the Gunpowder Plot. As we explored the ancient fortress, we learned about the intricate plans of Guy Fawkes and his fellow conspirators to blow up Parliament and King James I. In our workshop, we imagined the conspirators’ tense preparations and used a combination of songs and rhymes to help us remember the key events. We will always remember the 5th of November, gunpowder, treason and plot!
