On Thursday, the Reception children had a talk from two of our parents about Thanksgiving. We loved hearing the story of Thanksgiving and how different families celebrate it. It was wonderful to see how the girls engage with different cultures and their excitement when learning about new celebrations. After listening to the story, the girls were able to tell us what they are thankful for and their answers were a delight to hear, from ‘I am thankful for my family’ to ‘I am thankful for my learning’. The girls then went on to create wonderful turkey headbands which they enjoyed wearing throughout the day.
