A beautifully decorated Christmas tree now stands tall in the library, which means that we are officially getting into the swing of the festive season here at Francis Holland Preparatory School! Many of you may be thinking about what to place under your own trees ahead of Christmas Day and it probably won’t come as a surprise to anyone that we librarians believe a book makes a wonderful gift! With this in mind, we have compiled some reading lists for you to peruse, which you may find helpful if you’re thinking of writing to the North Pole on behalf of your budding bibliophile.
Most of the titles we have included in these lists are available to be borrowed from the library, so it’s worth chatting to your daughter about what she may have already read. Conversations like these are a lovely way to gauge a child’s interests as their tastes develop.
