The House System at Francis Holland Prep fosters a sense of belonging, teamwork and community amongst the different year groups.
The School is divided into four houses, named after inspirational women:
- Ashcroft
- Fonteyn
- Franklin
- Woolf
Girls are allocated a House when they join in Reception and siblings are always put in the same house.
Throughout the year the girls participate in a variety of House events which include: the House Quiz, Spelling Bee, Singing Competitions, Sports Day, Netball and Swimming Galas encouraging teamwork, healthy competition and vertical integration between all the year groups. Year 5 and 6 girls develop leadership skills and a level of responsibility as they take on the roles of House Captains.
