This week, our school was delighted to welcome a team of five friendly Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs), led by Mimsy Parker, who visited every class to talk about their role in supporting the wider Kensington and Chelsea community. They spoke about being good citizens, helping others, and showing kindness and respect, especially along the busy King’s Road and Sloane Square. Pupils were excited to ask questions about their uniform, kit, and daily responsibilities before exploring the police van parked outside. The officers explained how they assist with community events, offer guidance to residents, and ensure public spaces remain welcoming for everyone. A fun and engaging Q&A session allowed the girls to learn more about their work, road safety, and looking out for others. This event is part of our ongoing Pupil Voice and Community Outreach Strategy, reinforcing positive values of responsibility, awareness, and community spirit. The lead PCSO for the local Police Ward, Mimsy Parker, and her team continue to make a real difference in the area and the girls were delighted to meet the team and question them about their crucial work in the community.
