Congratulations to all of the girls who performed as part of the Lion King. All girls from Years 3-6 presented a showstopping display of talents from the outset. We are so proud of all they have achieved together.
Year 3 took our breath away as the grass with marvellous dancing and singing in ‘Grasslands Chant’, ‘Hakuna Matata’, and ‘Can You Feel the Love Tonight’.
Year 4 opened the show as pride land animals in the ‘Circle of Life’. They also blew us away with dances for ‘Can’t Wait to be King’ and ‘Shadowland’.
Year 5 transformed into mischievous hyenas, adding incredible drama to the show. They performed brilliantly in ‘Be Prepared’ and ‘The Stampede’.
Year 6 stepped into their roles with character and confidence. We were truly amazed at their commitment to their roles, outstanding singing, and teamwork.
A huge thank you to the wonderful team of staff behind this event, supporting rehearsals, managing backstage, and looking after the girls at all times. Thank you to Ms van Kamp and her team of TAs and parent helpers, who completely blew us away with the set and the costume design. Thank you to Mr Page who elevated our performance with incredible lighting and sound.
Best of luck to all of the Year 6s with your future performance endeavours – we know you will continue to perform to the highest standard! As for the rest of you… we will see you next year at Manresa Road for more stupendous performances!
