Today FHJS celebrated the end of the Spring Term with a spectacular programme of Easter activities! To kick off the day’s festivities, the girls gathered in the playground and roof garden for an enormously exciting Easter Egg hunt. Organised chaos ensued as the girls eagerly searched every nook and cranny for those precious eggs. We then gathered in St Mary’s Church for a delightful Easter Service led by school chaplain Revd van der Hart. We enjoyed beautiful singing from Year 3 and 4, the Chamber Choir and the Infants Choir. Year 6 also celebrated their last Easter Service at FHJS with some beautiful readings. Next was the highlight of the Easter celebrations: the Easter Bonnet Parade! With every bonnet adorned with tiny chicks, eggs, ribbons and spring flowers, each girl took the opportunity to parade her bonnet with pride and marvel at each other’s creations.
Thank you to all the parents who joined the celebrations today. Wishing everyone a restful and happy Easter break, and we look forward to the Summer Term commencing on Tuesday 16th April.
