On Wednesday, KS2 were treated to an incredible assembly by Miss Jackson, who spoke all about the importance of recycling plastic found in water sources, including oceans, rivers and streams.
Miss Jackson was inspired by her brother Tom, who founded Honest Ocean, a company that collects, processes and reuses plastic found in Indonesia. The girls were treated to an inspirational interview of Tom, by Miss Jackson, and learnt about the impact they can make by choosing to purchase items from companies who are committed to minimising plastic waste. They also discussed the continuing work our Junior School community does, including using reusable water bottles and recycling pens using the Terracycle scheme.
