Mrs Bodrova delivered an exceptional assembly to the whole school on Monday morning. Mrs Bodrova is travelling to Baku for the COP29 this month, where she will be presenting on the perils of ‘fast fashion’ and how society can find alternative solutions to this global problem. The girls were treated to a sneak peak of Mrs Bodrova’s content to delegates and government officials at COP29. They learnt about the background of COP (the Conference of the Parties) and what makes it a significant global conference. Girls were then encouraged to consider the advantages and disadvantages of ‘fast fashion’ and Mrs Dixon gave an example of ‘slow fashion’, our school grey coat which is so frequently passed from girl to girl as they grow up.
