On Monday afternoon, the playground transformed into a lively arena, welcoming the most pampered pooches in Chelsea for our FHJS Charity Dog Show. Thank you to all who joined us for our final charity event of the year to raise funds for CW+.

This year’s Dog Show was a great success, with three exciting new rounds. The Fabulous Fella category showcased dapper male dogs, strutting their stuff with panache. In the Loveliest Lady round, elegant female pooches charmed everyone with their grace and charisma. And who could resist the heartwarming Puppy Love segment, where adorable young pups melted hearts? After much deliberation, the judges crowned the winners: Ava’s Dog Robyn as Loveliest Lady, Wylder and Liberty’s dog Sprite as most Fabulous Fella and Charlotte’s dog Penny as the reigning Puppy Champion.

Next up, was the eagerly anticipated Obedience Round during which the dogs demonstrated their impeccable training by following a set of commands. Everyone behaved beautifully but in the end it was Sintra who impressed the judges with his remarkable agility skills and won for the second year in a row! Well done to his owner Manon for her exceptional dog-handling expertise.

Finally, we had the best dressed dogs enter the arena and showcase some fabulous outfits. After some incredibly hard judging, it was Lyra, or should we say Mrs Dixon, and her dog Boots, who showcased an FHJS summer dress. The pair stole the show and won first place in the teacher-pupil duo.

We wanted to say another huge thank you to everyone who participated and contributed. We raised a grand total of £600 for CW+, making the total raised for them this year almost £14,000!
