This week, Reception and Year 1 parents gathered for the first charity breakfast of the year to support Doorstep Library, a charity dedicated to bringing the joy of reading to children in their homes. Parents learned about the incredible work Doorstep does and watched a moving video showcasing their efforts to support children’s reading. Everyone then enjoyed a delicious spread of pastries and pancakes with maple syrup, bacon, and chocolate sauce! Altogether, we raised an impressive £978.14! All proceeds from the breakfast will go directly to Doorstep Library, helping them continue their mission of fostering a love of reading in children who need it most. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to this event.
