Last Sunday morning, a team of green fingers came together to give the Katherine Low Settlement (KLS) its annual garden makeover.
We are so grateful to our wonderful team of helpers who arrived armed with enthusiasm and trowels. Mrs Dixon had filled her car with so many flowering plants and fresh soil. We potted plants, tackled overgrown weeds, and transformed the garden ready for spring to work its magic. This event isn’t just about the flowers however, it is about us helping to create a space where everyone in the community feels welcome. This was all made possible by the proceeds from last term’s bake sale, demonstrating that even a batch of freshly baked cookies can blossom into something beautiful! Thank you to all that helped with the gardening and those that continue to support our charity events this year.
