There is no better demonstration of resilience than facing the unknown head-on and that is exactly what was shown on Monday’s Move Up Morning.  The girls strode up the steps and into the new school with their shoulders back, embodying confidence and a self-assured grace that was inspiring to watch.  Received by their friends with hugs and smiling faces in their (soon-to-be) new hall, the girls welcomed all the unfamiliar faces with the same warmth.  After lots of singing and fun activities (and cookies!) we walked back to Sloane Square with a  buzz of enthusiastic anticipation among the group and this energy was truly contagious.  We all had a pep in our step and are so looking forward to all the magic that awaits us in September (the library tree-house being at the forefront of this excitement)!

Miss Gardner, Junior School Teaching Assistant

It was an absolute pleasure to welcome my 2024-2025 cohort to their new academic home from September onwards on Tuesday morning. I have no shadow of a doubt that, based on first impressions, we are poised for an eventful year filled with immersive learning, collaboration and friendship! The pupils spent the morning undertaking some engaging group activities together and understanding the school’s binding Code of Conduct. It was delightful to see how quickly the girls were bonding during playtime on the playground, and while walking from Manresa Road to the Sloane Square campus for a delicious lunch. The afternoon there was spent doing further activities for the remaining pupils, during which time they had more opportunities to get to know each other. I am excited about what lies ahead for Year 6 in the forthcoming academic year and getting to know both pupils and parents better. I wish you all a wonderfully restful summer!
