Our Year 5 Camping Trip was awesome!
From small things, like screaming “TRAIN” when we heard one pass by, to learning first aid and saving the teachers’ lives after a tragic plane crash. We also loved having tent time, but sleeping was very scary because our tents were infested with spiders. Tribes Got Talent was so much fun, both performances were hilarious, but in the end, it was ‘The Slightly Awkward Potatoes’ that won. Whilst we were there, Grace D showed us how to play ‘Apple on A Stick’ which is a hand-clapping game. We also taught the teachers – Mr Cilveti was the best. Our instructors Lindsey, Eli and Darcey (with an ‘e’) were really kind, and they helped us loads throughout the trip. We were so shocked when Lindsey licked the bottom of her shoe after losing a bet with us. One of our favourite activities was creating booby traps for our teachers, poor Miss Bartlett got soaked to the bone! Overall, we had an excellent time, it felt like one big sleepover.
